Any good all inclusive hotels ?

I have been readin so many reviews on people s room gettin robbed !!! got to admit i havent yet but i have a bad feelin bout next year already . Anyway is it worth it stayin a all inclusive family hotel around the San bay away from that bloody egg shaped thing by the west end ?
 
We,ve stayed at the Mar Amantis a couple of times, the food was lovely both times, the drinks ae put in plastic cups but we had no problem with that, if people drink till they cant stand up, and knock the cups on the floor, it stops broken glass around the pool area, and chldren can run around at night without getting cut,
The staff were lovely, you can walk out the hotel and catch a water ferry across to San an itself last year it was 2.50 euros each way or a 30 min walk, you can catch buses outside the hotel to various other beaches, on the way back from other beaches youd get off at the Bergantin and walk about 2 mins to the hotel,
Theres only a little beach at the hotel but theres another beach about 5 min walk away,
they stop serving all inclusive drinks dead on 11pm, and buying drinks there after that time are very expensive, but theres a couple of late night pubs that are open till very late with reasonably priced drinks not far away
we had a great time both times, and nothing stolen, we did use the little room safe,with no problems
 
ill 2nd that .... stayed there for a week at the start of this month and had a super time... cheap and cheerful bars just down the road for after your all/inc stops at 11pm, Pink Panther and bucanero being good for cocktails etc..... Hotel is in a great location 8)

I have only stayed in the Nereida - although not 4* in my view, I would say its a good little hotel - just off the main road through the Bay (farthest end from San An) - and overlooking the sea. I only stayed a couple of nights before our villa was ready - but the rooms were clean and massive, double balcony, bedrooms large and bathrooms modern. I booked through Spotlight too :-)

Actually - just remembered we also stayed in Montemar in 2000 - too many children and built up the side of a very steep hill - nightmare for getting back to rooms after a nights dancing - needed oxygen half way up - pretty basic I would say room wise....

out of the ones listed, i would def reccomend mar amantis and the bergantin, they are run by the same company, the feedback I have had says the bergantin is slightly better food..
