Any cheap San Antonio accommodation that allows for late check out?

Have a bit of a dilemma.

We are heading to Ibiza this summer. We land in Ibiza on a Sunday night at 11.30pm. As we are only on the island for 5 days we want to make the best of our time there.

We are likely to head out to a club once we check into our accommodation and drop our luggage off.

However we have an issue.

The accommodation we want to stay at in San Antonio, cannot check us in until 4pm Monday.

We are looking for some cheap accommodation that we could use until 4pm that we could use as a safe base , as we are likely to need to crash out somewhere to recover from the night before.

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

You land on a Sunday night but have started your hotel accommodation off for Monday night?

I cannot see a date in your post so suggest you go on tripadvisor and select lowest price for the night you need - loads of cheap accommodation. I think there is a site just behind Eden that offers bunk beds in what seems like a brick built shed...Forget the name

Thanks for the replies.

I should of phrased my question more simply.

"Do you know of any accommodation that allows for late check out in San Antonio"

Ive booked up now at the Formentera apartments, but checkout is at 11am, will try to negotiate a late checkout nearer the time or on arrival.

When are you going? Unless it's peak season, I dare say the hotel will allow you a late check-out (for a small fee, of course)

Galera/The Red and Don Pepe are midday but they are dead strict on it. Expect a knock at the door at 11:45 and then at 12:01

was going to say the same, will very much depend on the time of the year and if the hotel is fully booked!

Will be in June. Will be only 5 hours to kill... im sure we will be able to crash out by a pool for a few hours to recover :)

Stayed at Galera in 2013 and yes they were very strict! Bit of a hole but cheap and cheerful and is probably the best time I've ever had in Ibiza.

Don't need late check out but what is Don Pepe like ?

Some good prices in September as well as very cheap flights from Gatwick means I could do 4 nights for under £300 per person which has made me reconsider my year off from the island

It does very much depend on the time of year and whether the hotel is full. You need to pay for the night before (Sunday) to guarantee you can access your room early on Monday morning which is obviously the ideal solution. If you book a room somewhere else for a night almost everywhere will kick you out by midday. Tarba gave me an extra hour last week by special agreement after I twisted their arm but 1pm was the absolute latest I could stay until as they could sell the room to walk-ins for the next night at any time and need it ready to let.

Otherwise, go to your hotel early and stow your stuff in the left luggage until 4pm, then use the sunbeds at the pool (assuming there is one) or grab a towel, get on a bus and go find a shady spot by the sea somewhere away from looky lookys and pickpockets for a few hours. If you want to sleep in an airconditioned room from 9am till 4pm on Monday then you really need to pay for Sunday night ;).
