any advice on caning it for a whole week?

So yeah I'm a fairly seasoned clubber for sure, but I've only been to Ibiza once - that was last year and I only went for 4 days.

[What a 4 days it was though - managed Manumission Closing, Space Carry-on, Subliminal Sessions and Miss Moneypennys.]

However, this year I think I may be going for a week to 10 days. If I do go for that length of time, realistically I'll be having 5 clubbing nights out in the space of a week plus a night out at Sankeys en-route to the white isle. In normal life I would say that having a massive clubbing night out once a month is a reasonably good frequency - so any ibiza trip would effectively mean half a years clubbing in a week! 8O

Trying to keep this vague so it doesn't get deleted by the mods (although you all know what I'm talking about) but I just wondered if anybody had any advice on how to get through that much partying without totally wrecking onesself and ones brain cells?

A good idea might be to have one night as a 'full-on' night, and then the next night just have a beer night, and the next night back to the stronger stuff etc. But there are 2 problems with that... firstly how to decide what nights are the full-on ones - how on earth to decide between space and circo loco for example :? . The second problem is that as one gradually gets more tired throughout the course of the week, it will get more difficult to stay awake and lively, no matter how good the music.

Any suggestions? (by the way i'm totally down with the whole 5htp thing so no need to mention that)

Thanks!

I was in Ibiza recently and we partied 7 of the 9 nights we were there and several of the days as well.

Just make sure you catch a few hours sleep in between and you get in some food. Drinking yoghurts are really handy for after a party and eat solid food where you can. I used protein shakes as well.

You can`t expect your body to function without food or rest so cover those bases and you won`t have a problem.

Bananas and alternate your days with high carbs (pasta is great), and high protein foods. I also took some Berocca to put in my morning bottle of water. Sorted me right out.

Well I have been doing that for the past 7 holidays in Ibiza and I have survived - my word of warning (and I have to do this every year) is book the next week off work as holiday too after returning......

It takes that long to get the brain back into gear for work.... :?

The best thing to do is probably the thing you feel like doing least - after a really heavy night get out in the sun, go to the beach/pool get in the water/sun bathe/eat lolly pops... then you can snooze a little to prepare you for the night ahead.

There is simply nothing to beat this remedy - and believe me i suffer REALLY BAD when i'm in England with the morning after feeling (actually its usually evening because i refuse to get up), but in the sun... i don't know there's just something in them there rays.

oh and try to eat at some point in the holiday!

Just space out your nights and have the odd night off and go for nice meals etc. So for example I normally do the full Space/DC10/sometimes Sanchez triple header without sleep but then come Tuesday night (when there's nothing on for me clubbing wise these days) I'll have a night off and do something nice. Then you have a good night's sleep on Tuesday and come Wednesday you're as good as new again and ready to start all over again :D
