Another Work Dilemma!

Ok.... I sent over my CV to a recruitment agency about 2 weeks ago. It was one of those "email us your CV" links, so I dont know if it went to any specific email address. Last week, they still hadn't called me, so I sent over my CV again, this time I requested a delivery report, and it came through as being delivered.
I STILL haven't had a call back from the agency or anything :? Is this normal for recruitment agencies to take this long? I'm sure when I've done it in the past they're like vultures, calling you up ASAP :?:

I don't know whether to call them and check they've got it, or just wait and see if they ring :? :?:

Give them a call Bec, especially at this time of year when people might have taken extra days off over Easter and it could just be sat in someone's in box.

They vary from my experience. i've waited for over 2 weeks for some to call me. Don't you just love recruitment consultants. I'd give them a bell anyway though

call them. it'll show you're keen...

but in my opinion... An agency that off the ball isn't worth your time, unless the post they're advertising seems really good.

there's tonnes and tonnes of agency's, consultancys down your neck of the woods so really no need to waste time with those that don't realsie your worth as a candidate and it can get you down pandering to these poaching ponces

What it is you do/want to do??

I've just left an agency that did that. If they werent interested in the candidate, or the position was filled they didnt believe in wasting time calling the applicants or even mailing them to let them know. Prolly not the best agency to deal with Becki if my experience is anything to go by.....

Someone has just emailed me saying she's looking through my CV now and is gonna call me to arrange an interview  :D

Thanks for advice everyone ;)
