I thought that it was time for me to revisit this site. Reading through some of the threads has reminded me of my own mis-spent youth. I see that a lot of you are indulging in the things that I and my friends did all those years ago - nothing changes. Well, maybe the music is louder, the drinks more expensive and not as strong. I dare say that the girls are just as nice looking.
When I used to visit the island there was not the plethora of clubs that there is now. Many of the places we went to had a live band and not all that recorded music that there is today - most places now would not want a live band - more's the pity.
I was trying to find some of my old threads that detailed some of my experiences on the island. They are probably lost in the mists of time and that may be a good thing - perhaps.....
I'll have to recall some of my old postings or post some of the stories again.
Nothing that happens on the island is new - you guys think that you are the ones to have discovered it - it's all happened before and was just as much fun. How does it go ---plus ca change....
