Another BIG reason to quit smoking ....

Apart from health ...... MONEY!!

Not just the cost of each pack you buy, but other indirect stuff like life insurance.

Our life insurance policy doubled because we said we smoked on average 4 a day :(

To think the amount you could save could go as extra into your pension or something similar.

Also worth remembering is you only have to have stopped a full year to class yourself as 'non-smoker' too so the benefits can be achieved in the short term quite easily.

What annoys me about these policies is how you get marked down for bad things but never get marked up  Shouldn't they be also asking how often you workout, what foods do you eat? It's all about double standards to suit their pockets

Well thank the lord they dont ask questions about extra-curriculum activities - none of us would be insured for anything - in short we would be funked!!! 8O

My financial advisor once told me about a client of his who took out some life insurance ...... lied through his back teeth and was quoted around £50 a month ..... went away and thought about what would happen if he made a claim and decided to come clean ........ revised premium was £300+? a month 8O

that's obsence... I get life insurance through work - if i shufle off this mortal coil (through no fault of my own) whilst employed by company Mr PL gets about 97k - he reckons I am worth far more dead than alive..... (I am always checking the stairs for small toy cars, roller skates etc......

I'm worth much more dead too. Maybe i should eat/drink stuff prepared by myself only :?

I even have 'critical person' cover on me at work. Talk about the responsibilities of being alive hey?
