Andy C : Alive
With support from 16Bit, Culture Shock, Delta Heavy, Gemini & Lenzman

On Friday 18th November the world's greatest drum and bass DJ Andy C returns to London to showcase his unique Alive show in the capital for the very first time. An audio and visual assault of the senses, The Executioner will be bringing the production to the brand new Electric in Brixton, a venue he has never played before.

In the world of electronic music, there are few bigger names than that of Andy C. Regarded as one of the greatest DJs to ever touch a turntable, the Ram Records founder has relentlessly dedicated almost two decades of his life to the music he loves. Such commitment to his craftsmanship has earnt him a status as one of the most iconic and important figures in global dance music culture.

Much more than just a DJ, Andy C is a true figurehead for the drum & bass movement, within which he has been an instrumental player since its very beginnings. His DJ sets and seminal productions have helped to evolve the genre through the many stages of its evolution. Andy's devotion to dance music is only matched by his list of achievements, and his is a journey that has taken him from sneaking into raves in barns as a 13 year old, to the glamorous terraces of Space in Ibiza and being invited to speak at Oxford University.

Having played an incredible set at South West Four this summer, Andy returns to South West London to debut his Alive show in the Capital, alongside a superb selection of world class support acts. West London duo 16Bit are two of the most respected electronic producers working today. Recently signed exclusively to Chase and Status' MTA Records, 16Bit is certain to bring the crowd to their knees. Ram Records' Culture Shock is another young talent destined to extend the boundaries of the scene. An incredible performance in October for Ram at Fabric meant we had to get him back for his Electric debut. Known for combining their love of cinematic soundscapes, house, techno and the 80s, Delta Heavy are another hugely popular Ram Records act whose debut single ‘Space Time' was one of the biggest tracks of 2010. Combining his skill as an accomplished piano player with emotional synths, apocalyptic bass drops and futuristic beat patterns, Gemini's music is intense but always melodic, aggressive and somehow uplifting. Finally having gained exposure with his deep and soulful beats including the release of ‘Open Page' on Goldie's influential Metalheadz label in 2010, Lenzman is one of the most exciting new producers in Drum and Bass.

The London debut of Andy C's Alive showcase was been met with a phenomenal response, with 75% of all tickets already sold in just two weeks.
