Two weeks of mayhem with five other lads and the best time of my life

We arrived Sunday the 29th of June and were very looking forward to going straight to space in the afternoon for we love but devastatingly our flights were delayed 10 hours and arrived in Ibiza at 4 in the morning. Still managed to have a spot of drinking and check out the west end. Our apartments were great and right by cafe del mar.

The Monday went to cocoon, would have gone to DC10 as well if it weren't closed which I was gutted about after all I've heard about circo loco, after spending a bit of time in plastic. Amnesia is a fantastic club and I love the set-up of the main room. We arrived early at cocoon a bit early though at half twelve as we didn't want to miss the half 1 bus and we were all new to Ibiza which resulted in us being very tired by about 4 but we partied on regardless. Loco dice was in the terrace which was great and a bit more minimal but I loved the deeper techno baselines in the main room. Overall very impressed with the night but probably too many Germans and Italians there who aren't the friendliest at the end of the day. Also amnesia is a bit bright for techno music they should turn off some of those colourful lights for cocoon which are more suited to cheesier music also Sven Vath in a tight latex suit is a bit disturbing on the screens lol.

Tuesday went round the west end again and ended up in Eden for advanced vs tidy. Was only 12E and a free drink so why not. Wasnt looking forward tothis night though as I hate hardstyle and after hearing Dave Pearce do his radio 1 sets I thought we would just hear all of tiestos old classics all night. However, was quite impressed by eden which I thought was a decent club with some good lazers and even an ice cannon. Was also quite impressed by Dave yes he played a few classics but played of lot of good trance and he was on for most of the night so managed to avoid most of the hardsyle. When the tidy boys came we on we left fairly soon after but wasn't hating their music as much as I thought I would and when they played a song with samples from human traffic everyone went nutts. The other advantage with eden is you can leave and come back so you dont have to pay the ludicrous prices for water.

The Thursday went back to Amnesia for you know what. Was very busy much more packed than the monaday but I dont think it is as bad as some people make out, once you have found a spot to dance an have got yourself a bottle of water from the bar you stay there all night. Spent most of the night in the terrace as I thought Dave spoon an D.ramirez were great thought the last hour I spent with PVD. Managed to loose everyone that night so go the bus on my lonesome at half 6. Great atmosphere at cream and full of people to talk to when I lost my mates.

Friday went to supermatxe at Privilege which was free!! Got there at about 2 and queued for a ridiculously long time. Privilege is huge but we found most of it to be closed which is a bit stupid when they have got a queue round the whole club and then just squeeze everyone into one room. Good night though in the end and you can tell they have made this night to rival manumission as they had a kind of show thing.

Sat went to zoo project which was great fun dancing in the pool then the foam party later. Not so nice on the eyes though all the foam. The got our tickets in preparation for space tomorrow.

Sunday went to Space, a great line-up for we love and in my opinion great value for money, 40E a free drink 13 and a half hours of clubbing and a pass out you can you use at any time. Space was great with loads of rooms and is great partying in the day. Bit of a mission getting from San an to playa de en bossa but we got to see a bit of Ibiza town as well when changing buses. Got a taxi back home.

Next week we were all running short of money and feeling under the weather so a lot less action packed than the first week

But.. after recovering a bit went to cream again on the thursday with a monster line-up. Spent the whole night in the name room after checking out the legend sahsa in the terrace. Does the guy produce live btw? Saw no decks just a laptop and mixer. Ferry played a blinding set and then the god Eddie Halliwell played from 5 till the end. Absolutely loved it. Best night of the holiday.

The last night we went to fiesta del aqua. Es paradis is a cool club but got sick of all the electro they played that night, wasnt much of a water party either has they didn't start it until 5. Was bored for about 3 hours before the water came on, when it did was good fun but seriously dangerous feared for my life when millions of people crammed into the tiny dance floor and then nearly died of pneumonia when walking back. But was still a good night to finish the holiday off.

All the nights I missed out we basically went to the west end on the pull. Don't all slate me at once we are 18 lol. Anyway had the best two weeks of my life and will defiantly be going back next year two weeks is probably a bit too long as you need a small fortune spend a day there but definitely worth it. Oh and well done if you read all of this.

Always good to hear someone had a great time. Nice one.

Think Sasha uses a Laptop with Ableton and a midi controller.

Glad you had an amazing 2 weeks.

Ferry played a blinding set and then the god Eddie Halliwell played from 5 till the end. Absolutely loved it. Best night of the holiday.

Very pleased to read that, Eddie is made for that main room at Cream, can't wait to see his set at the closing

well done for that review - you sound like you tried just about everything, variety of clubs and nights and bars.

Great review mate, reminds me of our fist tie there back in 2003 at the tender age of 18!
The tidy boys tune is heavens cry - til tears do us part (flash harry mix), the ultimate tidy anthem!
