I can confirm they are clip on beehives.

I know a guy who works in a well known hairdressers and always bangs on about celeb encounters.

Some guy he knew woke up to find Ms Winehouse collapsed on his bathroom floor with runny makeup and an unclipped beehive.

I love trashy birds so she can do no wrong in my eyes. When I heard the unclipped hive story she completely won me over.
