Good for you girl, been there myself but you snap yourself out of it and get your act together, i "almost" feel sorry for her but she's big enough to know better and if she continues like this ill have no sympathy for her.:!:

how are your sympathies for Doherty, given his current clean state and efforts at kicking the habit?
 
Love her - can't wait to catch her December gig at the Brixton Academy. Just hope she's not too munted to play! :lol:

fantastic voice, shame she has headed down this route which is completely stupid
can only hope she can sort herself out
(although i think her support structure around her might not be helping her just now)
 
I LOVE Amy Winehouse as an artist, I think she has one of the most amazing and distinctive voices of our generation.

I am, however, just getting fed up of her stupid lifestyle! Always tottering around in her stupid skinny jeans abd ballet pumps, looking like a bag lady! The whole drug thing - sort yourself out love, either get some rehab or at least look like you're not on drugs! the junkie look is just NOT nice!

And that stupid gimp of a husband always in tow... I wish she's just divorce him!

The recent reports of her cancelling gigs, under-performing etc... I just wouldnt buy tickets for her gigs because if, on the off chance she turns up, you're never guaranteed a good performance are you?

I actually agree with her Dad or whoever it was who said for her fans to boycott her music. If she realises her career is on the line if she doesn't sort herself out maybe she will finally do something about it.

looks like his best attempt at being clean ever
he has a good structure of support around him - the band, new fiancee & reunited with his family

Winehouse my need to have stronger people around her - from reports, her in-laws are worse than useless

It may be that she is where Doherty was up until recently and might have to go through a few false dawns and periods of on/off use before she sees the light
 
Well for his own sake he needs to quit drugs FOREVER and now otherwise he never will.

As for his new fiancee, im sorry i cant take that seriously, no sooner did he break up with Kate Moss then he has a new bird and gets engaged :?

she's been around his for ages
seems that they just got back together after the moss affair died down
it was her that was saying about the engagement at a show in paris
pics recently suggest its genuine

i'm with Becki on Amy's appearance as well
those beehives are bugging me too - heaven knows what is festering in them

Disagree... PD has been a caner for as long as memory can serve, and he still writes good songs IMO. It will be interesting to see how Winehouse's career goes if she can't get herself out of her smack hole

Winehouse's music is fairly well universally liked whereas Doherty's isn't everyones cup of tea. But to say he has no talent?!

Written many songs yourself?
