Amazon.com: How trustworthy....

do you find music reviews to be on amazon.com?

I have not had a good time of it lately... recently ordered a CD that got 5 star ratings from like 8 people... and it totally blows! Hideous. Do you think people are objective and educated about their reviews on this site or no?
 
the people likely to buy cd's from amazon.com are not exactly what I'd call discerning listeners. Amazon.uk would be a better barometer. The music that does well here is pretty crappy.
 
the CD was "Spundae Presents Interpretations" By Jerry Bonham. I got excited when I saw tracks by Armin and PvD... but as a whole the CD sucks. The only good thing is that the mixing and transitions are pretty seamless. Ah well, at least it was only 14 bucks
