I am just going to play it safe from now on then and not discuss drugs at ALL. Theres too much wavering on the subject... and I don't feature being unknowingly disrespectful to the board or freaking people out. Dr. Mick even re-posted the rules on that thread: "no posts on how or where to get drugs." I certainly didn't disobey... did someone? Is that why it got deleted? All I was trying to do is prepare the kid a little if he/she choses to go ahead with it. You can't stop people from doing what they want, you can only advise them. He/she asked us what it was like and I thought I gave a clear and honest answer.
 
lol I didn't say it was disgraceful. I am ticked off a lil tho, because it seems like we can't ever win. Which is precisely why I am going to steer clear of the subject after this thread is discussed.
 
Nah, you're not crazy.

It was destined to be deleted, unfortunately. I'm sure part of it had to do with the way the original post was presented. Certain mods are kinda lenient with drug discussion (which is good). I guess the "Drugs and the Brain" topic was okay because it was presented in a beneficial light...and posted by a mod.

I definitely agree with you. Presenting knowledge is the best way to handle it...and it has even saved lives in the past.

Though I am labeled clinically crazy as of last night (long before that actually but don't tell anyone haha)... we were boozing in my apartment last night after hitting the bars and I was cranking the new Tiesto album, dancing spastically... my friends were falling off the couch in stitches... I was glowsticking with beer cans hahaha :x :lol: 8O What a stooge.

i deleted it. i don't think our forum is a suitable place to discuss the effects of drugs or give advice. there are i am sure other places where people can get expert advice. i am of the opinion that the chatter of our members (and dr. mick, despite his new medical qualification) is not sufficiently good or knowledgeable for someone wishing to experiment. i don't want anything on my conscience - do you?

if anyone wants to know about drugs then go to a site which has genuine expertise and scientific knowledge.

Well stephen, one thing that would be on my conscience is knowing that I saw someone who was curious...and I didn't do anything to try and make sure they didn't get in trouble if they decide to go for it. Wasn't meaning to advocate it, I was just being honest with experiences. I have seen tons of people at clubs in dire straits because they weren't properly informed about the possible feelings/consequences that drugs can bring. Furthermore, I double checked the forum rules and it said nothing about describing drug-related stories. But like I said, it is my last intention to bring disrespect or bring a negative image to the board so myself and EVERYONE should just drop it all together. Sorry if I did anything wrong in your eyes.

LOL hey babe, no idea what widgets are, or what "The Office" is for that matter (don't watch too much TV unless it is MTV, VH1, Bravo, History Channel or Discovery).

I know, I am such a gomer, but at least my friends get a nice laugh at my antics every once in a while hahaha. :P
