Alternative to Playa den Bossa/San An

Hi all!

I am planning on going back to Ibiza this summer for the 5th summer in a row!! I have only ever stayed in Playa den Bossa and whilst I love the area, I want to go to a different area this year! It is just my boyfriend and I that are going and so I don't want to go to San An. I would prefer a resort on the east coast.

I really like the beach bars etc in playa den bossa. Is there anywhere else on the island that would have a similar atmosphere?!

Head down to the Salinas area. The Boutique Hostal Salinas would be a good choice or for something cheaper and more authentic Ibiza http://www.hostalmarysal.com

We stayed in an apartment in Cala Tarida for the week , was a private let so a really nice place. Not on the scale of pdb at all but if you have a car its a nice place if you dont want mayhem on your doorstep.
