Thats us just booked up for the 30th August! Staying in the Xaloc apartments in the Bay. Anyone stayed there before. They are above the pink panther bar. I stayed just across from it for the last 2 years in the S'estanyol. Should be great!!!8)

Been there 3 times now

Its a small complex, kinda mixed crowd at the pool, young ones and older ones too, not too many families and not a lot of young crowds - more of a couples place


rooms are decent sized, comfortable and (best of all) air conditioned.

when we have gone its with companies that don't have those annoying reps too

its a good choice imo
 
thanks for the assurance. read a lot of decent reviews on it. I like the location so am happy to go back there again. And thanks for the pic McRackin
 
make sure you catch the boat across the harbour.

it runs from directly opposite xaloc apts across to near the fountains, costs about £1 and well worth it to save the half hour stroll (although its a nice walk if you have to do it).

any pics/info mackie??

you could of course just stay in and enjoy some of the top notch entertainment at the cafe royale. or better still try one of my favourite bars - the kiosko on the corner of granada and es calo (just up the road towards port des torrent)

Naaaaah, the Cafe Royale was never the same after the legendary Tony Martin left!

We got a rude awakening from our Rep on the first morning of the holiday last year. Feeling a bit worse for wear some cockney lass was shouting into our rooms in the early hours then the cleaner let her in :!: She was alright, I mean she wasn't nasty or anything but I was cajoled into going for the welcome drink. I proceeded to sit there for an hour or so listening to the worst patter ever, doing my best not to chuck biscuits all over my fellow holidaymakers, everyone of which looked extremely excited about the planned nights to Es Paradis and booze tours through town. I tried to leave early and was glared at so sat back down in my chair before returning to my room for a few hours kip later on. :evil:
