Ok friends..as the subject suggests, I am looking to find out which one is the more preferred spot.......Here is the thing: I'm not looking for massive amounts of tourists and expats....I hear Alicante may have a lot of that going on. I am interested in good clubs...good shopping...nice beaches. Anyone been to either or both?? Any experiences.....fill me in! Not planning it until June....It's been finalized that my annual Ibiza August trip is still going to happen! So I have a free week in June.....Good or Bad let me know! Thanks for anyone who can help!!!!

ciao 4 now!!

Well i flew into Valencia while on my way to Denia,...but unfortunatly it was meerly driving through Valencia,...but from wot i saw it was lovely.

avoid Benidorm, its a shit hole!

I think ur best bet would probably be Alicante for the bars, shopping etc.

im sure you'll get better advice of others tho

Well... I don't think so. Valencia is quite a bigger city and has a lot of shopping choices in and around the street Colón. There's also an important commercial mall beside the City of Arts And Sciences (this is a fabulous place to spend a whole day).

Regarding the clubbing scene, Nadia just tell me what type of clubbing you like (music, people, etc) and I will be pleased to tell you as far as I can.

Banana's is the place you say I think. Is not in Torrent, but it's near Valencia. Not a recommendable place at night (terrible music policy and full of hen/stag/wedding parties). I don't like it at all.

On Sundays it's a big after-hours club called Friend's Club, better music, but it isn't my cup of tea either.
