Apparently suicide - found hanging. He was due to attend his mother's funeral tomorrow - so very sad....

in about 1994/95 i remember seeing him at a show in Paris called Premier Vision, which is basically a massive textile show which all the designers go to source fabrics for upcoming collections, its about 18mths ahead though for example the fabrics they look at in spring will be for fall the following year. anyway he was on a stand that specialised manmade engineered fabrics and he was sat at a table looking at a leatherette fabric with square perforations, dont ask me why I remember this, i just do. then sometime later on the cover of his first album robbie williams has an alexader mcqueen jacket made of the same fabric!!

Sad story, really. Apparently never got over the death of his mum.

The missus was devastated... until we watched a half hour of Sky and couldn't bear to hear any more about it.

I can remember my mum and dad's faces when he brought out one of his first collections I think bumster trousers (or whatever the technical name is) .... their faces were "Who is going to wear pants like those - I dont understand these bloody fashion designers"

what the oldies dont get is most high end stuff is just showing off what IS Possible.

im rather annoyed i didnt buy them AMQ ribcage trainers or the ribcage suitcase last year now.
