thought we needed one of these to share/recommend/slate whatever we're listening to.

artist albums only please (compilations go elsewhere).........

I'll start with something i've been listening to a lot recently.

Tiefschwarz - chocolate
 
Album of the year so far for me is Gorrilaz - Plastic Beach, but that may change once I get into the new LCD Soundsystem.
 
The Delphic album is well worth a listen. Have had it on my ipod all year now and not getting bored of it one bit!

Agree that Plastic Beach is also quality. Heligoland is also worth checking out.
 
just dug out the dirty vegas first album, seeing as they at Warung all summer.

its coming with me to the beach......8)

Its class isnt it. had Sh!t reviews in some places. "tough follow up to sound of silver..." etc.... Balls to them.



Ive also just been passed onto the Caribou album - Swim. Really surprised. will be great for after party/chilling to this yr.
 
Had a listen to Sleigh Bells - Treats on Spotify last night. Crunchy guitars, crunchy beats & very loud. Ordered a copy for further listening.

It's that time of year where I start thinking what albums I haven't actually listened to from the past year. Roots Manuva, School of Seven Bells, Warpaint and The National are on the list to be Spotified.
