I'm the same from Cardiff in Sept, 6am flight. I always travel in a pair of cargo trousers that unzip at the knees, and turn into shorts.

Waiting for luggage is AC`d as rest of airport, waiting for taxi`s outside may be warm, Combat`s / loose jeans with shorts underneath & trainer type socks (short little ones) is my method,

Have a good one
Tim

No problem Stu, sweaty or not, you look good in anything. taxi no problem as Fernando will be waiting! Hasta manana ykta 8)

i always just wear shorts and a t shirt. i wouldnt say its that cold in the airport or on the plane. the excitement usually just takes over anyway!

This is how my ex used to solve that particular problem..............

I always wear 3 quarters, a t-shirt and flip flops for the plane but I'm a hard northerner :)

This will be my attire when flying on Sunday.

I'm just wearing shorts/t-shirt when I fly out in Sept. Might be a bit chilly at home (Scotland) but rather that than be hot and sweaty in jeans in Ibiza.

jeans are so all fashioned now.used to be hip in the 80s with a large belt rapped round, but now not so hip and too hot to wear.if your going to wear jeans get some roxy thread jeans made, thinner and very light.used to be made in notts.you can still get them made to order and fit you like a glove.

What you need at this end (UK) is shorts, T-shirt, old rubbishy hoody-top and tights (for girls, too) and when you get to hot and steamy I, ditch the crappy hoody and tights.

I do that to save baggage on my airline - all the holiday stuff is in the bag which goes in the cabin, and outwards (in the cold UK) it's a rubbish coat bought for £2 in a charity shop, which gets left in a bin at the airport boarding the plane. the stuff underneath I'll wear on the hols, shorts, a pair of nude tights which keep me warm here but no-one can tell I'm wearing them - yup, I'm male ;-) and they can be ditched in Ibiza arrivals, socks (used in Ibiza) and tariners (ditto), and undies + baseball cap.

Might all sound a bit daft, but when you're faced with a £30 bill each way for hold luggage, then everyone has to cut corners. On the way back you can wear all the classy stuff you bought in Ibiza and THAT doean't have to go in the hold!

Are you actually for real?? You were ****ing tights en route to Ibiza to keep you warm at the airport?? This has to be a windup. Has to be.

That old "I'm male and wearing tights for warmth" chesnut!

I bet he's got all sorts in his drawer.... suspenders and everything!

Oh.... and I can't believe people put so much thought into it?! I chuck on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. bring a hoody incase its a bit chilly on the plane. Wear the same on the way back! Sorted!

Airport at THIS end, yes!! Considering the first leg of the journey starts at 4am at my local station in the middle of May, and ain't taking more than what's absolutely necessary to keep the air ticket low.
Low airfare = more nights on Ibiza. How can you argue with that??8)

Exactly.
I wear jeans, a t-shirt and a long sleeve shirt on top which I just shed upon arrival. Done!

Like a moustache and love of fine wine, one of the few things that separates the english man from beast is the wearing of appropriate attire for air travel.
