aguamar water park

although ive been going to the island for ten years now, Ive never yet been to this waterpark but was thinking about going there in august.

has anyone been before, is it worth the money?

I went to aguamar waterpark 3 times as i was stayin in playa d'en bossa. i thought it was definatly €18 well spent, not a great variety of waterslides but the inflatable tube rides were great fun. there are also a few shallow pools to relax in and sunloungers, shop and a cafe

It's funny. Been to Ibiza 7 times and been the Aguamar only once (with 18-30's back in 1997!) as it's never really appealed to us but this year, for some odd reason, we've all decided that we want to go for the day!.

The question is, how do we get there from San An? We no longer do the 18-30's thing (looking back that was the only saving grace of the rip-off excursions - the transportation was organised for you!) so we're gonna have to get there under our own steam.

I imagine there's a bus you can get, as well as hire a car but do travel companies offer some sort of coach service?

Anyone know?

I know that the regular bus service drives along the road byw aguamar / space every half hour.

How much would a taxi be from San An Bay (roughly)

What ever you do, DON'T get the bus, it'll take buses to Ibiza town first and then one from ibiza to PDB which don't run as often as you might think.

A taxi from San An to PDB is about 18 euro's and is money well spent.
considering it will also save you at least an hour each way

If were spending that much to get into the park though ... its ****e if your on a budget

the taxi is the way to go,the black hole alone is worth it, just remember to dry off before you leave cos the taxi drivers wont take you if your wet
