After Hours....Would You go to a Silent Disco?

A bit of market research...

We have found a great location and are thinking of trying to get away with a silent disco a couple times a week starting at 7am.

Question is.....You are coming out of a club in Ibiza, someone hands you a flyer for it.

Would you go to it.?

The place is great and has an outdoor dancefloor and bar.

We are thinking of about 15 euro enterance.

Obviously the big question is....Will we get away with it ?

I think the answer to this is location, are there gonna be enough people about at that time to want to experience such a novelty? Don't suppose you want to reveal....;)

sorry, but no

i think the idea of a silent disco sounds gash

but best of luck with it anyhow

In theory, yes I would, but 2 things bother me.

What would the quality of the headphones be like?
How do you talk (or shout) to other people without breaking your experience?

Also I suspect I'd feel like a complete tool.

So probably no.

See you back at the villa then - where we will have proper music going..... ;)

Good Luck tho guys - but its not for me.......

:lol: Don't think this is for me :lol:
Plus my little ears would be a sweaty mess :spank:

What's that music video with the teenage girl dancing around the streets and shopping centre wearing a set of headphones??? Think got a similar sample to smack my bitch up in it.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm not sure about it.
Personally I have said in the past that I didn't really fancy it.....However in the present circumstances with no official after hours, maybe I would take a look.
I suppose the only real way to find out is to give it a try.

Sorry I can't reveal the location yet, but it's a good one.

We are having trouble actually defining the new law too.
But I guess if they want to stop it they will find a reason.
I will let everyone know if it goes ahead... about a 50-50 chance at the moment.

Regarding the after hour thing on another note.
The police went around last weekend and closed a few private parties down.
They didn't find our one though, we had it going all Sunday after Amnesia.
Good stuff and the only person wearing headphones was the DJ.

You could look at this two ways....

1. sell tickets to people who were up for it.

2. sell tickets to people who weren't up for it but wanted to piss themselves laughing at all the ones who were.

.........ticket number 2 please !!!!

I think why not take it a step further, meet up in a deserted field somehere outside of San An then give everyone a complete helmet that has a screen and Hi Fi in it, then you can broadcast what ever music and visuals you liked. You can then maybe get a deal with one or two of the super clubs, broadcast their live feed straight to the helmet, then you can rip everyone off on bar prices just like the big boys do without having to go through the whole inconvience of going out to one of the super clubs.
Perhaps you could squeeze everyone into a tiny field as well just to get that real superclub experience.

No way, i would look like a right plank.

although saying that after a few beers dont think i would care.
