Where are the good chill out places to avoid all the yobs throwing up in the streets etc. Looking for great bars/clubs which are not full of tossers. Nice chill out tunes would be nice to start the evening with. We're staying in the bay - Anyone want to give me a ideal night of where to go or where to avoid???

Avoid the west end, try Sunset strip.

Kanya, Coastline, Mambo's, Cafe Del Mar. All easy within reach of each other and more chill out tunes than you can shake a stick out.

always like savannah (spelling) gets quite busy at sunset mind, but its nite late on and the little club it has is good aswell

definately Cafe Mambo or Savannah, bot play chillout vibes till the sunset is over then the music switches to chilled house.

Cafe Mambo has Pete Gooding as their resident chillout dj, well worth listening to his sets. Then this normally follows by the warm up pre-parties by the big nights being held at Pacha. IE pete tong on fridays, roger sanchez, darren emerson etc. You get to watch and listen to the big dj's for free, well worth it. Saw Pete Tong last year on the beach out side Cafe Mambo, he played some wicked tunes and was in my element dancing on a beach at 2am.

Cafe Savannah doesn't get the big big big dj's but last year i saw Trevor Nelson dj here, oh yeah and saw Stonebridge do 'Put Em High' live at 1am for the hed kandi pre party, that was wicked!

Definately visit both of these bars, they r only about 50 metres apart and both have amazing views of the sunsets

Clean, friendly and value for money places in the bay are Ray and Mays (next to the supermarket across from Es Puet beach).A nice all day breakfast at the Pint Pot (cross the road opposite Rumi`s Gym down to the beach)A very nice early evening paella can be found at the restaurant under the big blue waterslide down on the beach (sorry don`t know the name but you can see it from any beach in the bay). Also try the Smugglers Inn just round the corner from Rumi`s Gym (they do a wicked curry!)
Towards sunset strip it goes more up-market and pricey.Bay Bar is excellent (they serve freshly made crepes from early evening),Coastline has great pre-parties and I would recommend Savannah for best food (and service) on the strip.
The only West End bars I would recommend are Plastik and Viper Bar! :D

thanks for all your help

Thanks for all the suggestions. Really looking forward to going just hope at 28 I don't seem to old! Did all the old Kavos and Magaluf stuff when I was 19/20, drinking cheap crap vodka is not my idea of fun anymore. Hoping Ibiza will still be lively yet not full of tossers fighting left right and centre. Hope me and my friends enjoy being in great bars looking at the sunset, drinking and meeting people while listening to great tunes. Be great to even meet a lady (or two) there. Anymore suggestions would be appreciated - what is the price of drink etc in places like Cafe Mambo? Also what sort of time do poeple go out in the evening...
