Advice- only going for one day/night (Aug 15th)

Hey hows it going? Just a California local looking for some advice for my only day in Ibiza. Ive been a HUGE fan of the scene (watching dvds, listening to space/amnesia live sets) and never imagined id be able to go. somehow someway i will be there on monday august 15th.

I see Privilege has the biggest lineup thru the club calendar. since i only have one day there, im just trying to see what you guys would recommend. Im staying at Complejo San Miguel Park / Esmeralda Mar. My idea was to enjoy the beach and site see/shop during the day. hit up the bars before going off to a club at night.

what would you guys recommend in terms of bars/clubs on a monday? ive been researching on the web, but look to you guys with actual experience. any tips/recommendations/must do's would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks in advance. Cheers!

Its tough trying to fit it all in one day! You can do it, but there's no time to rest. You're staying away from a lot of the main attrations so you'll have to plan accordingly. Here's your schedule:
1. Afternoon at the beach
2. Head down to San An to catch the sunset. Cafe del Mar or Mambo Cafe are probably your best choices to get an idea of the whole sunset experience.
3. Then over to Bora Bora for some beachside dancing. I prefer to be there in the afternoon, but you can't miss that experience.
4. After a couple of hours there, a nearby bar called Tantra is a good spot to pick up your party tix.
4. I'd take an hour and head to the bars in Ibiza harbor for a couple of drinks.
4. Then around 2ish head over to Pacha for Release Yourself with Roger Sanchez!

There'll be some disagreement on point 4. Sanchez plays an eclectic house set that gets deeper as the night goes on. He's my personal favorite.

Some would recommend Manumission at Privelege as it's a huge spectacle in the biggest club on earth, combining house, live music, stage performances, etc. Headlining DJ Fatboy Slim gets mixed reviews... people seem to like that live band Fischerspooner though I know little about them.

Others would point to Cocoon at Amnesia if you like harder trance and progressive sounds. Sven Vath and Ivan Smagghe headlining that night.
