Hey!

So basically, six of my girl friends and I will all have turned 18 and finished exams by the 28th June, so we're planning on catching a flight out to Ibiza as soon as possible after that. We want to book soonish to try and save money, but erm, we don't have a clue what we're doing! If ANYBODY at all could possibly give us a little bit of advice, we'd be really grateful!

Which resort would you reccommend staying at? - We're going purely for the nightlife! Is there a particular hotel you really like? We'd like half-board, but we're pretty adaptable. Which are the clubs we really have to go to whilst we're there? Do you have any good sites for booking package deals? Any words of wisdom for us vulnerable young women?

Any help at all would really, really be appreciated! Tah in advance

Hey there, Bella...

Firstly, I hope you've taken a look at this website: www.ibiza-spotlight.com

The main Spotlight site has a wealth of information, including descriptions of the main resort areas and the main clubs, hotel info & reviews, etc. If you take a bit of time to read through it, you'll be able to focus your questions a little more and we'll be able to help you better.

I personally never book package deals.... I book my hotel through Spotlight and my air travel separately. I'm not sure if I always get the best deal, but I always go when I want and stay where I want! They lock up some pretty good rates with the hotels.

Which clubs you'll want to go to depends on what kind of music you like (and on which nights). The Spotlight party calendar won't be updated until spring but if you take a look at this year's calendar, you'll be able to get a decent idea of which types of DJs (house, trance, techno, etc.) play which venues on which nights.

For a group of 18 - 19 year old girls, I would recommend that you select San Antonio as your resort.

1. You have got two of the main clubs that you can walk too.

2. There are good beaches close by or you can catch a ferry from the marine
to some of the quieter surrounding beaches.

3. There are plently of reasonable value/quality restaurants in the town or bay.

4. You have the West End packed full of lively bars playing a wide variety of music during the night(most open till the early hours), and a interesting shopping area during the day.

5. You have the sunset strip which comprises a number of more sophisticated bars.

6. There is a vast selection of accommodation either in the busy Town Area or in the quieter Bay Area

I assume that some of you may be holidaying on a budget. The main club nights are very expensive (entrance and drinks). So the West End can be a cheaper alternative. I would also say that the alternative resorts that people may suggest (Ibiza Town and Playa Den Bossa) are more suited to slightly older groups.
