Advice needed on places to go drinking in Playa d'en Bossa before the clubs

Hi all,

About to embark on my 5th trip to Ibiza, but this is my first time staying in Playa d'en Bossa. I always stayed in San Antonio & only ever ventured over PDB to go straight to the clubs.

So i was wondering where people go to drink & warm up for club nights. Is there an area like the West End etc..

lots of bars along road across from space.and on main strip road in pdb.but if you look across from the garbi hotel there is a side street with a few music bars as well.its not as mad as the west end. plus you have bora bora beach bar and others.which apt or hotel you staying in?
 
we found a reasonably cheap place a couple of years back - nothing fancy
(dunno if its still there tho)

location is - from Space, head towards Ibiza Town way
follow the road round the bend - its right there on the left
 
I always get a few drinks down me in Murphy's on the main road in PDB, you can't miss it as it has an old car outside with a Guiness barrel in the back, always good if there's a footy match on too. Then cross over to Tantra bar for a few last minute drinks before Space.
 
The truth is it simply doesnt have a San An style strip like the West End. The problem is that alot of the bars (near space particularly) try to be more posh than they are and are overpriced. Tantra can be quite fun and the 2 bars by Sankeys as well. Or just go to the beach! Coco's always looks busy but it is a total rip off!
 
New Garden just near the Sissi's assador restaurant...

Really cheap drinks (8€ for a biiiiiig vodka redbull), good ticket prices, great staff.

My favorite pre-club bar since years... music not going loud so no dancing but really nice place to talk with friends.
 
Cheers for all your replies guys, really helpful! We chose to stay in PDB as its closer to most of the clubs, plus i've never been to Bora Bora beach in the day before & been told its a must! We are staying in a villa about 5 mins away from PDB so wont be leaving there till late in the nights, but its always nice to get a bit of a pre party feel with a few drinks out before hitting the clubs.
 
I have only ever drank opposite space and paid around 7euro a cocktail, and 5euro a beer.

Is there anywhere in PDB with San An prices, where you get other clubbers go for pre drinks?
 
Get yourself to Top21 just up from Jet hotel. 2 for 1 cocktails all night long...will defo do the job! Just avoid the downstairs club, music is horrific!!!
