ADVICE FOR A NEWCOMER

Sorry to ask such a usual question, but I am off to Ibiza for the first time at the start of August.

I am trying to figure out a cool place to stay, alot of my friends have said that San Antonio is full of knob heads & English Breakfasts, but it also seems to be pretty mad.

Is it better to stay over the other side of the island, or should i just get amongst it and try and avoid the baked beans & sausages crowd?

Or Calo Des Moro - just a bit further round (North) and you get Kanya, Coastline, Kasbah etc. on your doorstep.

The West End (which has the reputation) is walking distance (5 min) but it's far enough away IMHO

The West end of San Antonio (or at least the 'worst' part of it) covers about two streets. You will encounter the odd beery knob end wherever you go in San An, and indeed the rest of the island, but if you avoid those two streets you should be fine. Unless of course, you're going 18-30's
