Building on the mammoth success of last year’s debut event at Tobacco Dock, Adam Beyer brings Drumcode Halloween back to London with an inspiring line-up of techno, house and electronica.

The line-up is complemented by a tribe of Drumcode’s finest heavy-hitters lead by Alan Fitzpatrick, Ida Engberg, Nicole Moudaber, Dubspeeka and Truesoul regular Reset Robot, while friends of the label such as Dense & Pika, Boddika and Trevino add spice to the Halloween brew.

This will also be a rare chance to see one of the most loved producers of our time take up his techno moniker, with Maetrik joining the party. German duo Pan-Pot will also be bringing their captivating brand of big room techno to the event as they celebrate the release of anticipated new album ‘The Others’, due out 26th September on their own label Second State.

I think those acts listed will fill the main 2 rooms: the car park & the great gallery. I suspect the other smaller rooms will be local DJs in the London scene and sub-promoters.

I'm always amazed that people pay for "VIP" at these parties. £70+ for the privilege of a bar that sells more expensive drinks, bean bags and fast track entry when the queue for normals zips along quickly anyway.

Great line-up though, Scuba smashed the Main Room at Cocoon the other week, hopefully they'll put him on in the car park as that's a good space.

What are the tobacco docks like as a venue? Never been there before. Intrigued about this "car park"

I think it's a really good venue space, with scope for creative, bespoke production. That said, depending on the event/branding the production has been hit & miss for me.

ENTER. great (of course), Seth Troxler's Acid Future (good). Some of their other events... meh.

The car park is great. Very stripped-back, cavernous. Normally this is LWE's room 2. Though Hawtin opted for it to be the main room in April.

I really like it. Big space, fairly simple to get to and from, nice outdoor courtyard area in the middle (although we'll see how appealing that is in late October). The main room has ok sound. The car park is just that, the underground car park below the venue - they put a soundsystem in a tight little bit of it and I thought it was great.

I was there earlier this year and thought the car park great:

Couldn't go to Enter unfortunately, not surprised Hawtin opted for the car park though.

Enter was very busy and trying to get in the car park once it filled up was a nightmare. Still had a top day tho. Sub-Ann was class and enjoyed Hot Since 82 as well
