Acid house music

As a 32 year has-been I would love to be able to go out and hear tunes from back in the day ........88/89. Are there any nights this year that will be playing that stuff?

What I'd give for a night of Salsa House, Doug Lazy,Voodo Ray, French Kiss, Kariya etc out in a field in my hooded top and wallabies!!

I was at Eden last yr
I was there the second night it had been open and it was a bit dissapointing.It was pretty quiet and it seemed to be mainly full of pissed up tourists and only a few clubbers. The music was mainly from 92 onwards and the big anthem type tunes. It was very dissapointing when the dj played higher state of consciosness and most people left the dance floor and also saw many of the drunken crowd covering there ears and laughing the dj quickly switched to something a bit more user friendly. It may have gotten better than that as the season progressed
 
If you are going in August try Retro. I believe there is enough partypeople then. Otherwise it´s gonna be empty.

They play good old "class of 88" classics in Retro but not so many tunes. Mostly it is music made after 1995. Crowd is just drunken kids but you can survive if you just take care of you own intoxication ;)
