Accommodation in Santa Eulalia

Hi all, a little advice needed.

My GF and I are looking at Santa Eulalia for a couple of weeks from around the 20th of Aug.

We have looked at Trip Advisor etc to try and find somewhere nice to stay, we would like something quite central and upmarket (the 5*'s in the area don't seem to justify the high prices).

We would consider apts, hotels or villas, private rents or otherwise..

Everything we have come across up to now look a bit dated or stuffy..

Thanks in advance for any suggestions (I've already checked out the links from Ibiza Spotlight, just wondering if I've missed anything or if there are any hidden gems out there).

Cheers, Phil & Helz.

hmmm....so i assume you have looked at Aguas De Ibiza and Fenicia Prestige? Grupotel Santa Eulalia? there are a few nice villas around, try James Villa's.

Finding the right accomodation for ones needs in St Eularia should not pose to much of a problem as i for one have noticed that the town has almost doubled in size over the past 30yrs or so. Maybe the couple would be better checking out the links below and if that's of no use to them then their's alway's Camping Es Cana which despite it's name has a very nice pool and Tipi's for rent and also they do good fast food grub along with serving very cheap alchohol prices:)

Thanks for the replies people..

Ruth, we did look at the hotels you mention but 4k for a fortnight seems a bit steep.

We are thinking a decent private rent is looking like the way to go, James Villas doesn't have much in the area, at least nothing within walking distance of Santa Eulalia.

Dave, I've had enough of camping at Glastonbury over the years fella.. Couldn't stay in the tent as soon as the sun was up last year, can't imagine Ibiza heat in August! 8O

Does anyone know of a letting agent in the resort I could try? Thinking someone local to the area will have the best info..

Cheers again, Phil.

villas and resorts rarely mix - certainly not within walking distance. land is so expensive in urban areas that any sensible developer will stick a block of flats on a 500 sq m plot to max up his revenue. and if you were prepared to shell out a million on a posh villa, would you really want it next door to club 18-30 or a sunset bar? if you think 4k for a fortnight in a 5 star is a bit steep, then you'll be on the floor at the 5 grand or upwards for a villa in august!
