absolutely worth 1 hour of anyones time!!

Not sure David Mancuso would appreciate being edited down to his bare essentials though!

The interviewer clearly asked a question on the relevance of LSD to which his response was 'well LSD did play a role...' he would've ventured on after this to say something far more interesting about social progress, the invite system and the importance of the dancer over DJ etc.

I guess we'll never know as the interesting bit only made it to the cutting room floor in favour of a bit of tired drug sensationalism.

thanks for the reminder JJ

some great footage and stories but I feel you can't condense 3 divergent scenes into 1 hour, you only really get a snapshot, which I already had.

I would be very interested in seeing a doc about why white, straight America to this day still kaks its pants at the mention of dance music. If there is one, do let me know.

Got it on the old Sky plus.

You have to keep an eye on that BBC4 channel as they like to slip things in late at night. Ooh er.

Agreed

in the last couple of weeks I have seen

"Synth Britannia" about the rise of electronic music in Uk in the 70's-80's

and a superb docmentary about live aid day

I salute you bbc i-player
