After a gap of 5 years I went back to the White Isle for a brief visit last week. I went loads 2001-2005.

How great it was to be back there.

The feel of the sun on your back
the lush green mountains
the vodka limons
the red earth by the roadsides,
the orange bricked dry stone walls
the cobbled streets of Ibiza Town
the adrenaline rush of the water park,
the communal living of being in a villa with 10 others
the excitement of little kids in the pool
the s****iness of Ushaia
the nausea of the ferry to Formentera after a big night on the booze
the tawdryness of the Es Canar Hippy Market
the fun those little fellas can still produce
the confused expression of taxi drivers as you direct them the wrong way up a mountain
the unexpected delightfulness of Grial
the expense needed at all the new places on the island to get a drink
the crystal clear waters and perfect sand at Playa Illetes
the tapas and cerveza at out of the way cafes
the wonderful feeling in my body after a full on yoga session
the aches in my body the next day after a full on yoga session
the size of the watermelons


I shall return again........
 
I think thats the first time i read vodka limon on this forum.. its all mojito this mojito that.Good your keeping it old school..Vodka Lemon is never the same when your home either..:D

in my day ..... :lol: Mojito habits are hard to kick once acquired !!!
