A One Week Guide to Ibiza

I'm gonna be in Ibiza the last week in August and I'm looking for some inspiration - what is the best way to spend one week on the White Isle? For example, what would be the perfect itinary?

The only plans we have set in stone are SHM Closing Party at Ushuaia on Wednesday 29th, so will have a few vodkas on PDB Beach before going in. But other than that, these are the only plans so far! Hoping to do a boat trip too, but there's so many on offer. Might end up going with Pukka Up though cos we do prefer it more commercial if I'm being honest, but definitely open to presuasion.

Not just looking for ideas at night, but during the day too. Any towns/villages worth a visit? Obviously the cheaper the better, but also don't mind forking out for the odd 'once-in-a-lifetime' type experience either. Staying half board in San An (turned out to be cheaper than self catering!) but still want to try a few restaurants in the area. A friend told me a place called Tony's was good?

Want to squeeze as much as possible and get the most amazing experience from my first trip to Ibiza! Cheers!
 
Also interested in any great places off the beaten track/great photo opportunities as we'll likely hire a quad for atleast 1 day!

Seeing as you said you like commercial music I'd definitely recommend the Pukka Up boat party which you can get from San Antonio on a Tuesday or Friday. Considering that you like commercial I'd suggest maybe going for the Friday party as the after-party is at Ibiza Rocks for their new night 'We Are Rockstars' which is probably a bit more suited to your taste compared to the tuesday party which is Carl cox@Space.

Some other parties which you might want to consider are:

Wednesday - Subliminal at Pacha: Erick Morillo and Sympho Nympho
Thursday - Cream at Amnesia: Calvin Harris, Alesso, Above and Beyond etc...
or David Guetta at Pacha
Friday - Pure Pacha All Gone Pete Tong at Pacha
Saturday - Hed Kandi at Es Paradis or Defected at Pacha
Sunday - Fabulush at Es Paradis

Although they aren't all strictly commercial I think that each party will provide you with the kind of uplifting atmosphere that you are after. I'd suggest you check out video's of the parties I have mentioned on youtube as well to see what you think.

San An restaurant wise I would really recommend the following:
Cafe Mambo/Savannah/Mint/Cafe del Mar - Each offers great food and the most amazing view of the sunset
Davids restaurant - offers a 12.50€ meal deal until 9pm - 3 courses and really good italian food, it is located near Mambo but set back on a nearby main road
Ibiza Rocks bar - this is similar to Nando's and serves steak, ribs and grilled meats and is really tasty and great value. It is located on the promenade which goes towards the bay near Eden and Es Paradis.
Koppas - This is a restaurant at the bottom of the West End by the harbour in San Antonio, it serves great food and reasonably priced with a really vast selection of dishes.
There are also great Chinese and Indian restaurants in San An try out 'the Curry club' and 'The Gran Wok'
