is the 17th June - 1 July good for opening parties and the like -
Also - will I need A/C or will the temperature be just right??

Sorry for the questions but I truly am too busy to search as I am booking accomm and flights at the same time - mucho multitasking this morning!!!

june is the hottest month of the year in Spain. Air con is essential to me, but I'm spanish and my resistence to heat is different to yours

17th onwards is when i'd say 75% of the club events have their openings, so yes an excellent time, you'll have lots of options and prices (if you pay) will be a little cheaper than in july and aug).

a/c for what, your accomm??

i'd say yes but if there is somewhere perfect then i'd also say at that time the heat is bearable.

depends on how high up the accomm is, is it near the sea (breeze), if it's a villa has it got white walls and small windows, so it doesn't get too hot inside.

lots of variables pups!

Villa is in San Jose just out of the village, 6k from Cala Tarida beach so no sea breeze but at least there is a pool - just thinking about sleeping on a night....... I always leave the A/C when I sleep (fear of mozzies) so I like to keep the rooms freezing cold if poss.....

Right booking now for the 17th.......

In June you could "get by" on having your balcony window open... (especially if your hotel is on the water), but I'd still recommend a/c. (edit: nevermind if you're getting a villa... party at pups' place? :D)

As noted by Grego, those 2 weeks are the best time for opening parties. There'll be a couple of earlier ones (usually clubs, not individual parties) and some later ones (many of Privelege's events, a couple of Space's) but in general that's the best time to be there imh(but correct)o. :D

We went for a biking tour on saturday and ended having a paella by the sea. THe beaches were packed, half people was wearing shorts and t-shirts and half others were in proper swimming costumes.

Right - booked (paid extra for A/C - what a swizz - never had to do that before!!!) :spank:

Roll on 17th - eeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!!!!!!

I was speaking in general terms there, Grego, but if you're going to get nitpicky, then Garlands at Eden started earlier too! :spank: .

Yosh1toshi, Renaissance, Release Yourself at Pacha all started from the 15th on...

chill bellsniff, i was trying to contradict you, i was just offering some advice to pups in my usual informative and non-provocative way. :p if you read what i said earlier i was in agreement with you, was just pointing out that some others do start earlier.
