A funny (yet childish) story...

Wanted to tell you a very funny (childish) incident that happened yesterday whilst I was facilitating the Community Event for the company I work for yesterday.

I had the whole place mic'ed up for the Q & A session with the Olympic bid 2012 panel and the women visitors for the International Women's Day.

To set the scene:

A colleague and myself walk the floor with radio mic's in order for the staff to ask questions for the panel.

Now bearing in mind I had eaten nothing all day bar 10 tic tacs and 10 tabs. I am standing at the back with my arms crossed in front of me and the mic in my hand - which was switched to the on position, all of a sudden there is this strange rumbling noise in the surround sound system (my stomach rumbling) embarrassing but no way as embarrassing as whathappened with my colleague on the other side of the room. She is on a diet all she had eaten was 2 hard boiled eggs, celery and houmous. She is standing with her hands behind her back - the mic in the on position (BUT she didn't know it was switched on because I had passed it to her) she's standing there all professional like, then tries to squeeze out a sneaky fart....... I have teeth marks in my knuckles where I had to stuff my fist In my mouth to cover up my hysterics.

It was one of those moments when you wish you had video equipment at the event too..... a quality moment

Was this before or after the bride's mother's pissed herself on the dancefloor, slipped on the wet patch and somersaulted into the wedding cake?

Oh, it was just like 'You Been Framed', not actually it.... ;)

the poor girl is mortified - she was nearly in tears later, and at first was looking to blame me for giving her a switched on mic - like I knew she was planning to sneak one out!!! :?
