Hello people, as you can probably tell by the "ticker" in my signature, its some time since I have been on here, let alone Ibiza,..

Im no longer off out there looking for .... well, what it is you look for when you go to San Antonio:p

Im back off out there in July, with my mum and dad, partner and her little girl, hypethetically my step daughter...

We are off to Es Cana, and staying in the hotel Caribe, - Ive been there before (years ago) So I am moderately familiar with it, but understand the hotel espesically has been done up a bit...

Can anyone give me a few pointers as to how it all is now? and whats there to pacify a 2 year old for two weeks8)

Es Cana has had a few changes over the past years, particually along the bars on the beach, Es Pins and the like. They have been done up with nice loungers and gardens.

Zen Sea has opened on the Cala nova which is nice for an afternoon beer and some food.

The Circus is still in town :(, up the hill and at the back by the Mar Bella, which may help with the little one :)

Apart from that its still the same ole Es Cana.
 
Yes mate, I have and it was helpful, I did however want to ask the opinion of someone whom may have been of late, possibly in similar circumstances to myself and wondered what their take on it was, as apposed to a peice written for this website, which is tailored to promote it as much as possible.....

As an aside, anyone know the journey time from Elvissa Airport to Es Cana?, obviously taking into account drop offs etc ... an hour? - more?

your looking at 45 mins to an hour if that to get to resort.as drop of is playa den bossa then may be cala longa and es cana.it does not take long really to get to resort.but like you say depends how fast people get of bus.

The reviews are yes, I meant the actual description of the hotel itself (not the reviews)
Ive seen the reviews, but from previous experiance I tend not to delve to deeply into them, as every person is different, and what one person believes to be cheap and tacky etc, another one finds enjoyable....

One person on there is claiming a fault with the standard of the internet access at the hotel .. I mean, WTF are you going on holiday for!?!
