A Few questions

I have a few questions that would be very helpful to have answered:


1st- What is the best time to get to club nights? Especially, themed nights with big headliners...I don't really want to wait in long lines, but I don't want to arrive too early either.

2nd- Can you do 3 clubs in one night? Like Tues for instance looks very good, w Aramda, Defected and Space PM. Is it better to space it out between 2 weeks, or hit all in one night?

3rd- Where is the best place to buy tickets to events? Or should I just make friends with more PR reps?

4th- Why do I feel like I will not be sleeping very much July 31st-August 9th?

Hey Rich, what's up? Did you get my last email, last week? I got msn mess now at home, so we can chat. As for you questions when I went out, I usually didn't go out before 12 midnight and I never really waited on any lines except for like 10 minutes to go to Paul Van Dyk and at space for Sasha. For Sasha the line was pretty long, but the wait was maybe 20 min. It was really really crowded for that though. I didn't go to more than one club a night, since I was there on overlapping nights I went to onething one week and the other on the following week night. The only time I went to 2 places in one night was when I went to space at 8am and then out later that night. I bought all my tix at the club, but I hear the Port is a good place to buy tix cause alot of club reps are there and have discounted tix. I don't think you will be sleeping much for those 10 days. The best thing to do is don't eat and sleep during your dinner time. Tee hee I didn't sleep much cause I was out way toooo much but if I did it was usually around 6 or 7 pm till like 12 am.
Hopefully I will be there the same time so we can all go nuts together, I am deciding the first week in march.

to your questions:

1st - clubs normally open at midnight, but things don't get really going until 1-2am. i normally arrive at about 1:30ish at the club and normally you don't have to q for more than 5-10 mins. things at pacha go off even later, the main floor only gets really crowded at about 3am.

2nd - yes, you could do 3 clubs in one night, but i definitely wouldn't do this. split things up and enjoy the whole night at the same club! becuase if you would really want to do 3 clubs in one night would mean you'd be at each club for only about 2 to 3 hours...

3rd - don't buy tickets at the entrance, buy them at a bar in ibiza town, playa d'en bossa or san antonio (depending on where you stay). they sell tickets discounted and you can save up to 20€ per ticket!

4th - nobody really sleeps much when on vacation in ibiza 8)

Word of advice mate - there is a difference between PRs and Holiday Reps - the PRs will be standing about flyering and most of the time they would be able to give you a discount if you buy a ticket from a specific bar eg: Mambos do discounted tickets with a free drink and a coach if you buy from them etc...if you're on any kind of package holiday though whatever you do DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THE REPS they completely rip you off. My mate ended up paying about 200 euros for a booze cruise, Mardi Gras and a ticket for Manumission Hope this helps

and can't you just tell you were a worker and NOT a holiday rep

1 - arrive about 1-1.30 and you shouldn't have to queue and this means you can relax inside the club before things get going. by 2 in most clubs there are enough people so as to be able to get an atmosphere going

2 - don't do 3 clubs on one night, don't even do 2. stay in 1 and get to know it really well

3 - millions of places to buy tickets, music shops, clothes shops, preparty bars, etc - always buy beforehand if you can and use a flyer if you can find one

4 - re: sleep, by the time your vacation is over you'll need another one to recover
