A Few Notes on My Trip

there is certainly more security this year. the days of no searches at clubs are, regrettably, gone for good.and they can be thourough too.

there seem to be more guiardia around too. i saw two blokes be called over from 50m by our friends in green for a search on Playa denBossa.

'new' space is good. i thought it lost it's way last year and all the re-development has taken a while to bed in. the new terrace is soulless though. the sound is awesome but it struggles to maintain atmosphere. the new 'salon' is a great respite. the sunset terrace will never replace the last one completely but it does a pretty good job. you would not believe how many south american women work in the kitchens washing glasses, i got a glimpse and its shocking. like babs says, it really is a daytime place on sunday and we left just after 12.oh and ulysses is an absoulte genius.

cap des falco is the best place to watch herons and waders.

the new road is just too big. some bits of improvement and upgrading were needed and have been worthwile. its just the size of some of the construction which is baffling. does that tunnel outside ibiza town really have to be big enough to take an divsion of tanks? generally, the benefits (pdb to airport in 7mins!) outweigh the losses(ugly, expensive)

talk to stangers. some of them are really nice.

McCrackers is a top guy, nostrum too. Hi to Johnny M and DJ Les who i met all too briefly

Babs and Tom looked like the happiest people on earth when i saw them. this marrieage thing obvioulsly works a treat

Try to get invited to a private villa party. they are really good(!)

get really battered and then drink at KM5, it really makes the lights twinkle.

if anywone wants a truly excellent massage whilst out there, pm me for the number of a brillant guy. he has a place on san jospep road.

if the carpet dealers in space know you by name, it is not something to be proud of.

more if i remember it

Hello!

Glad you enjoyed!

Why oh why did they bother building that stupid roof??? :x:rolleyes:

The original plan was due to noise restrictions...but then to go and build another replica on the side?

Ibiza loopholes make me chuckle.

...agreed on the tunnel too - pretty but what's it for?

It reminds me of Princess Diana.

i think any cost/benefit analysis of the new roads would be unfavourable. we're paying for them for the next 30 years and we'll be able to measure any benefits only in the extra cubic litres of coffee consumed in ibiza town cafes!

russ, your massage guy isn't my persian friend is it?

Good to see you in Space Russ........and completely agree with everything you've said in your review - wasn't Ulysses the Daddy :D

i think this review would be better set to baz luhrman's "sunscreen"

nicely done, but i love space at night-time. then again im relatively new to ibiza holidays.

Top review sir. Apologies was too mittened up to reply to you at Glasto, in any case I wouldn't have been able to help.

Glad to hear you smashed it. What was the mom situation like?!
