A Brand New

what spec?

was thinking of upgrading my 2Ghz to run leopard... but am very happy with the speed of Tigger.
 
even though i use it at home only, a macbook seemed best for me as you can close the lid and push it to one side of the desk an its outa the way. the new imacs are too big.

and as for those air things. what a rubbish idea, what is the point of a laptop if you cant change the battery. about as useful as a 'cube' or a 'newton' if you ask me!

and its devoid of a CD drive (£100 extra)... ok, you save that weight by losing half the bits... but what if yr away and someone wants to give you stuff thats on a disc?

plus the new glass fronts of the imacs tend to stain on the inside of the glass.

exactly. i really don't see how this product is gonna appeal to any but a very small percentage of consumers (those who just wanna very light thin notebook). a cd drive is gonna probably double the weight too.

I am also a big fan of iwork. a cheap and easy alternative to ms orifice too.
