A bit confused

We,re going back to Ibiza in September, and this time we,re planning on going up to the watchtower overlooking
es Vesdra, looking on google maps it says fom the road its less than a km ?? but from what we saw last time its
obviously a LOT further than that,so does anyone know roughly how far it is to walk from the road up to the tower, and
how long it takes roughly ,we thought possibly 2-3 hours, each way , is that not enough time,?
and any idea what the milage is from the tower to Cala D,hort , just wondering how much time to allow for our visit in total,
and hopefully not getting lost on the way back, and ending up in the private vineyard again, LOL, just realised google
maps only shows you as far as you can go on the road,so that makes more sense, lol,

we,re planning on getting the bus from San An to St Josep and getting a taxi from St Josep, want to do it a bit cheaper this time, as we,ll not
be doing it on our anniversary like we did last time,
We,ll obviously have proper walking boots on,and be properly prepared for the walk, so has anyone done this walk, if so any
helpful tips would be welcome,
thanks x

It will take about half an hour from the road. I can't remember exactly. It's about a kilometre from the bend in the Cala d'Hort-Puig Blanc road but uphill with a lot of loose rocks and stones on the path.

bring a bike and cycle up it then when the tough gets going just leave the bike hidden somewhere, walk the rest and get the bike on the way back down... there should be no problem finding it again..

From the road it will take around 20-30 minutes. When I've been twice we just got a taxi from San An and always been dropped as far as the taxi could go along the dusty track it's hardly a road! Cost around 25-27euros if memory serves me right. Getting back I just walked straight down the road to the restaurant and got a taxi ordered from here. Enjoy your visit!
