8-13 may. 1st time, crazy hyped, £400 budget each

Ok

Beaches San Antonio Area

Get on one of boats at the port In San Antonio and head over to Calla Bassa. 8 euros return. Lovely beach club there. Different option of eating establishments all under the same company Take your own food and drink if your on a budget.

The beach is really lovely warm ad shallow waters.

Calla Gracio/Gracioneta two beaches close to San Antonio which have another beach club ( chingirito )

Food wise you have to remember everything is expensive in Ibiza so there is alot touristy places offering Paella. Way overpriced to what you would find in mainland Spain.

Another option is the small beach along from the sunset strip which boasts cafe mambo and cafe del mar called calo de moro. Small beach there and nice place called sun sea bar nice fish dishes and tapas.

Centre of san antonio near the famous egg roundabout is a 24 hour supermarket so you can buy drinks and not have to pay ridiculous prices to top up before heading out.

Clubs wise there is plenty to chose depending on your style of music.

I would buy club tickets before going out as will give you best deals. You might find reduced or promo tickets through hotel or street agents but whilst they save you you will actually pay more as you have to go the club way before and then spend more money at club prices.

Ocean beach club is nice chilled vibe and you dont need to get vip beds to enter. Either just go and get few cheaper sunbeds for 10 euros each and enjoy the day or go in evening around 10 and the desk will probably be closed and you can enter for free for last 2 hours of the party.

All the guys who walk around the steerts with cardboard boxes with sunglasses will offer you drugs but are generally not pushy. Tell them no thanks and they will move on.

Any more questions just ask...

You have 2 strips.

The Sunset Strip which is where cafe mambo, mint, cafe del mar and the other bars that face the sea are located. these are bars but turn into pre party venues in the evening which sometimes host famous djs.

West end strip. 20/30 bars in one medium sized street ( calle santa ines) that forms most of the pre club drinkin. I must admit i was rather dissapointed with the size of this having been to magaluf when i was your age. But Ibiza is not all about San Antonio. Clubs are spread across Ibiza where as Majorca is pretty much centralised in the magaluf district.

You will find drinks cheaper in the west end and lots of reps trying tomget you into thier bars with promo offers.

This won't help the op at all, but he should have done some more research anyway.....
It's funny how people have different opinions about things, imo, Calla Bassa is a lovely place (or can be) but the total takeover by CBBC is well over the top. How did that happen? El Chiringuito at Gracioneta is not a 'beach club'. Food wise, Ibiza is not expensive if you choose wisely. You missed out a 3rd strip, wonder where that is?

I am only trying to the help the dude.

I stand corrected with the Chiringuito having not been there. As for Calla Bassa i think i mentioned the takeover by the company. However it is still nice place to go and you can take your own food and drink.

As for the Prices of food. Ibiza is more expensive than mainland Spain with regards to the price for fish. That is what the lad asked for. There are cheaper options available. However if the lad wants quality fish products as he asked for then he will struggle on a 400 euro budget to eat lots of fish.

3rd Strip? If you mean strip club then i have no idea as i went with my Spanish wife to Ibiza.

Early 20s,first time to Ibiza...do you really think they will be looking for quality fish restaurants?
No, I'm not talking about strip clubs.

I can understand that people have different opinions to other people... However i dont come onto forums to argue with people.

If you read the person says the are looking to eat lots of seafood. Second they mention they are not big drinkers.

Please enlighten me of this magical 3rd Strip that you are chatting about. If it is where Linekars bar, tulp and itaca is then I didn't know this was actually called a strip however if you are determined to argue with me then great you can let this guy know what he wants.

Over and out.

I'm not argueing, just giving my opinion on a couple of things.
Yes, I mean the strip of bars etc along Arenal beach.

Out.

@Nazz21, my real advice is to use the 'search' function on here, much better than asking for individuals opinions.....until you get down to asking about very specific things, then people might be able to help.
First thing, I think would be to google your apts, where are they, what goes on?

8th - 13th May, there won't be much club action going on at all, the West End will be pretty busy I would've thought. Pacha will be open for clubbing, resident's only but most are very good.
