40th birthday - Where to eat?

Not a fan of taps San An myself.. first time there had a great meal been back twice and was disappointed..I feel with some restaurants like bands and favorite DJs if you have a great time there or seeing once, don't ruin the memory by going again just in case it/they are $hit on the night...

This is where I'm at with Can Currune sadly. Which is a shame given it's a lovely bar, full of charm and just the right mix of locals and visitors, especially when the football is on. So handy after benirras. Where else has this kinda vibe within similar distance? Does San Miguel have an equivalent? I.e. informal and inexpensive but similiar atmosphere and importantly, shows Spanish football?

Can Sulayetas is close to San Miguel. Informal and inexpensive, deep in the campo. I’ve only been during the day and it’s been quiet but with a good mix of people including locals from what I could see. Not sure if they show matches in the evening but worth checking with them, the staff were always great.
