Hi guys,

We are bringing our daughter to Ibiza for the first time next month, and want to take her to see the sunset etc. She loves music so it would be great to take her to Mambo, Savannah's etc but of all the times I have been there, I dont remember if kids were allowed in any of them?

Thanks

We took our 3 year old to Mambos last year, she was dancing on the tables !! Youll be fine!!

That's what i wanted to hear! On a similar note, how about Bora Bora and the other bars in PDB? I want somewhere fun to take her in the day thats not typical family holiday stuff and she loves dancing to house so somewhere like that would be ideal (before it all gets too messy of course)

i'd advise against bora bora. even in the day it's a bit too edgey for kids that young. mine have just about got to grips with how different it is and usually we're only passing through or there for a few mins.

but on playa d'en bossa beach nearby, there is likely to be other beach bars having some kind of events that will have music. keep your ears *****ed.

alternatively, blue marlin on sunday is child friendly before dark.

Yeah I'd probably give Bora Bora a miss. Our 2 year old will be visiting in June (her 2nd trip) and she loves the sunset strip last time when she was under 1. This year I expect her to be dancing it up good :-)

Another nice (although potentially expensive) option might be any of the beach bars at Salinas. I've been known to grab a couple of loungers there and a few jugs of sangria and while away a pleasant afternoon enjoying the more chilled music and frequent dips in the sea. The sea there is also pretty child friendly as I recall.

Bora bora might be OK but you never know when a group of absolute mentalists might turn up and that's probably a bit much for your kid (and probably myself these days!)

Cheers guys, are there any other bars with a similar vibe to Bora Bora in the daytime but a bit less in your face? Reason I ask is i know she's gonna want to get up and dance and she doesn't like anything too slow, anything less than 128bom gets called boring! I obviously wont be sticking her in the thick of it on the dancefloor or anything but want to be close enough to be able to hear the music and get the atmosphere.

I'll second that, heres my daughter dancing there when she was 2
