3 nights in early May? Worth coming?

So my partner and I will be travelling to a few places around europe (first timers) during the first two weeks of May. I was thinking of a possible side trip to Ibiza just to check it out (3 nights?). First, is it worth it (Barcelona is one of our stops)? Second, if so, which days should we plan to be there? What's the weather like in early May?

I've already read that Pacha is the only big club that's open year round....but I'd like to hear some feedback from anyone familiar with the area.
