this day is going from bad to worse!!

Sorry - just had to let off some steam (in a non-swearing manner) because no one at work is taking any notice of me stomping around with a t*tty lip on and moaning.......:twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Hope everyone else is having a better day than me!!!!!
 
Is Monday ever a good day? I was an 1hr 30 mins late for work this morning. Still recovering from the weekend! Then to top it off I walked into a closed door on my lunch break :cry:

I need a duvet day NOW
 
I'm going to balance a bit the thing and I'm having a great day ;)
I've sleep graet and lots, cos yesterday Iwas in bed at 10 after too many laughing cigarretes and wine.
It's warm and sunny and shinny
and my boss is not in the office today
;)
 
If we're brigning the weather into this, then that's something on the plus side. Beautiful sunny day here, if still a bit chilly.

I'm not "bringing the weather into this", but nice weather is enough to make a day a bit better

my day has consisted of

  • getting up late due to this clock being wrong....:oops: :oops:
  • missed being involved in a car crash this morning by 3 cars - nothing serious for those involved thank the dog, just a load of little bumps - although made me later by another 30 mins.....
  • late for a meeting (which I had not prepared the paperwork for due to being late into the office)
  • Got 15 presentations to pull together into one by Wed with all singing, all dancing music clips and video links - aaarrrgghh!!!
  • Went to another meeting to realise I hadnt sent the Agenda out. Tried to finish my lunch before I went in and ended up slopping spicey carrot soup all down my white t shirt - so got illuminous orange spots across my t*ts
  • plus all my other day to day stuff to do.....
I feel like I am slowly being swamped by work and cant seem to get my head above it all (not like me) - roll on 4.30!!!!! (or maybe I should stay til 5 because I was late..... hmmmmmmm:? )

Update: My day now getting progressively better. The girls in my department just popped open some wine to "celebrate the end of Monday". :lol:

Lots of times I can't get the exact "shade" of the sentence ;)
 
That's ok... with most of the people on this forum I don't get the 'shades' either, and English is my first language :lol:
 
Monday is nearly over though!

I just booked a long weekend in Marrakesh for August on my lunchbreak.
I need stuff to look forward to this time of year!

Now where did i put that visacard application form...:twisted:
