Arrived midday on Thursday 24th July, stayed in Hostal Anibal in San Antonio. Decent hotel for recovering during the day if staying in or around San An.

Thursday - Cream at Amnesia, wasnt too bothered about Angello, priority was Eddie Halliwell and once again he didnt let us down. Remained for Paul Van Dyk, again another fantastic set and great atmosphere from start to finish. Busy but not too busy that you couldnt move or dance. Great start to the trip. Highly reccomend this night, Halliwell and Van Dyk, masters at what they do. Went last year when Calvin Harris played on the same night and to be honest didnt enjoy it, couldnt move but that might just be me ageing. Retired for bed around 7am.

Friday - Up for midday. Had a few beers around the pool and headed for Kumharas for the sunset. In my opinion this is 100% better than Mambo and the sunset trip for the 'sunset' experience. Nice meal at Casita on the way back to freshen up. Drinks at Itaca and Ibiza Rocks before Clockwork Orange at Es Paradis. RIGHT. Where do I start? If there is a better night on the island than this all summer I will be surprised. The only thing that ruined it for me was the water as some folk drifted off home as it came on. However the clientele, the atmosphere, the music, the setting was first class. Ive been to Ibiza 12 times and I can honestly say this is up there with Manumission as my best night on the island. Arrived back at the hotel at 8.30am. Could have carried on. Unreal night.

Saturday - Friends had paid for Cirque De La Nuit boat party and stupidly placed their tickets in their pockets the night before. 20 euro deposit lost. We therefore decided to do Zoo Boat Party, Zoo Project and Glitterbox at Booom for 65 euros. Top day from the off. The boat was excellent, great service, safe and top music. Would definitely reccomend this, I am not sure about Zoo anymore though. In the first years I loved it but now it seems a playground for posers. Just my opinion. Left Zoo at 10pm for a freshen up and headed to Booom at 1.00. All the lads I travelled with are straight and the crowd at Glitterbox was predominantly gay however that didnt matter in the slightest. A great night. Very funky, vocal house music and a great live act which added to the experience. Dmitri from Paris very good. Definitely worth a visit. My only regret is that we werent on the island for Defected at this club. Great atmosphere although most expensive drinks in any club we visitited. Left at 5.45am.

Sunday - The original plan was Space. We then thought about Sankeys and Amnesia. None came to fruition and we ended up having some food and chilling in Itaca all evening with cocktails till around 2.30am.

Monday - Chilled day by the pool, sunset at Kumharas and Ibiza Rocks the House at Pacha. Two friends wanted to see 2ManyDJs and they didnt disappoint. Missed Idris Elba which was a shame as I enjoy Luther but top night which was busier than I expected although the crowd was predominantly European and not British which isnt a bad thing I guess. Left for home around 7.00am.

Our flight was scheduled for 9.30pm the next day so spent the whole day recovering. We were delayed by an hour as two women ended up fighting on the outbound flight we were returning on. They were arrested and hopefully placed on the next flight home.

When is the next Clockwork anniversary?

good review! Think were gonna do Glitterbox so glad you had a good night and rated it. Not good that the drinks are top dollar mind! Everyones saying how good clockwork was, reckon I will organise my trip around it next year, god willing. San An used to be buzzing about it in the daytime when it was on in the 90s, dont remember that level of anticipation in Ibiza about something for a few years now, but thats just personal view.
