2017 Hotel options

Just wondering if anyone has stayed or visited the palladium white island in PDB or the neighbouring property? Could be an option for next year.

My main interest is what is the food like? Having done half board at the Sirenis down the road twice and ending up eating out most of the time I need to weigh up whether it would be pointless me staying at an all inclusive resort / half board.

If anyone can offer some input or recommendations? I'm not a fussy eater as such, I just don't like scrapy pulpy, shitty food that has me boaking at the thought of having to eat there again.

Also open to staying in San An next year if anyone has good hotel / with decent grub :) recommendations.

Cheers

The best hotel (all-inclusive food wise) I've stayed in in San An.. well San An bay was the San Remo.. with the Azuline Bergantin being a close second. Stayed in a few others and they were of noticeably poorer quality/choice

I can vouch for the Bergantin as an all inclusive hotel. Stayed last year and spent all our time around the adults pool - so peaceful during the day. Food is excellent as well, (well, good for an all inclusive hotel anyway!). Going there again this year we were that happy with it

@meedz @jay_aitch cheers peeps, just the info I was looking for.

Always been a bit iffy about all inc as food can be a bit scrappy, I'm not expecting high end but there's nothing worse than forcing yourself to eat the best of a bad bunch on that days offerings.

Yeah plenty of choice at the Bergantin. Changes everyday to a theme as well, like 'italian', 'american' etc, so dont have to eat the same thing twice. You won't go far wrong

Well i take it you was in the Goleta=Siernis.Should have gone for a/i and you would of gone in the Tres Carabelas better food.Tres Carabelas bar inside and restaurant as had a refit.Plus the hotel is under going a full floor refits.Over the winter months. Palladium is very posh upmarket.only trouble is its a bit far from resort. And its not cheap.

@woodruffe I stayed in the first building when walking in the direction of from Ibiza town to PDB, stayed twice on previous visits.

We upgraded our room both times at the sirenis and although the price doesn't quite bring it inline with Palladium I'd be happy enough to pay the difference if the food is of good quality. Distance from resort won't be an issue as we'll hire a car.

I am staying at the Palladium White Island resort for 3 nights in September before moving on to the Hard Rock. It's costing £350 all inclusive which I think is a good deal as the food and drink should be of good quality. I had stayed at the Palm Beach a lot and always rated this hotel. It will be interesting to see what's changed. I have always found all inclusive (only if the food and drink are decent) to save me a lot of money. I suspect the food and drinks at all the fiesta hotels are of similar quality as the don Toni and palm beach were so it might be worth booking the milord in San an bay or the fiesta tanit? I haven't been to either.. Definitely don't do half board as drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic are where you save the money :)

Well that's 2017 booked, so much for having a year or two break. San An at the Intertur Hawaii.

Thanks to everyone for the info :)

I checked next years prices and its 2 grand more expensive than this year for the same 2 weeks?!?!? Is it usually that way or has the pound dropping meant its just stupidly expensive now?

Which hotel and dates is that for mate?

You'd expect some increase eh but 2k :eek::eek:

Mar Amantis this year was just over 3k for 2 weeks AI for 5 of us in the first 2 weeks of August... Next year it's coming up at over 6 grand?!?!?!?

I think it's maybe too early for some of the pricing as some big-standard hotels are coming in at £20k a week if you get a quote.
