- Meganite Opening party, great set by Picotto he appeared to definetely enjoy it himself too.
I was wondering how was that party, and since no one yet mentioned anything about it so i want u to be more specific and give me details about it (croud, music, atmosphere, etc) as i plan to attend Meganite myself 3 more weeks.

@ fusion: It wasn't that busy, the crowd was pretty mixed (lots of Germans, British and also quite a lot of Spanish). As for the atmosphere, i thought it was great! The dj's appeared to me as having a great time as well, there was quite a lot of interaction with the crowd (especially Picotto).
The music was (offcourse) pretty hard techno but i just went with the flow ( which certainly is a good thing :P ) so i didn't pay a lot of attention to the differences between the dj's. I just remember it was pounding and people loved it. Only (small) thing i disliked was the abominable state of the toilets in Privilege, they were disgusting.

Marvellous, I can't wait - Meganite will be my first night out when I head over there tomorrow - timed my trip to take in two Meganites (well, I went to Picotto's last one at the Ministry of Sound in London and it was fantastic...) There seems to be more techno on this island this year - that's got to be a 'good thing' ;-)

The quality of the music this year was impressive it all the parties I went to. Bora Bora, DC10 and Underwater's opening at Pacha rocked while the biggies (Shined on Me, Put'em High, Flashdance, Lola's Theme etc) got caned to good effect by the La Troya/Amnesia residents. Got to the opening of We Love Sundays late because friends had only just arrived from the airport but walked inside Space just as the Skylark mix of Shout leapt out of the speakers. A magic moment I'll never forget.

@fusion: I did get a stamp when I got out actually, so I think you are allowed to go in again. I'm not absolutely sure though cause I haven't tried it.

I was not really with it anymore when i left so i have to take a guess, think it was about 5 o'clock, could also be 6 though.

Went out for a weekend on the 9th July, Went to Defected, Junior Jack Rocked, Hed Kandi beautiful women everywhere and the girly hands in the air did not stop excellent. WLS Cassius was of the hook, and steve lawler with one of his last songs 'good life' orginal was a great way to end my clubbing weekend.
Ibiza still rocks, the clubs were as busy as ever and I'm depressed to be home!
Trying to wangle space closing at the moment, can't wait until next year 8O !!!

I believe that music wise, this year was top. each night had a different music style. For instance, no matter how many times you do pacha, you will never have the feeling of a " deja vu".
