Having just returned from my first trip to the white isle on sat night. i can say me and my boyf were more than impressed and looking to return this year but for two weeks.

when is the best time in sept to go. first two weeks? mid also what is weather like?

Well, if you go in the first two weeks you will usually get some of the best closing parties.

The weather is generally the same as August until 'the thunderstorm'- it happens every year (at least it seems to when I'm there!) and afterwards its warm but not as hot as before- still high 20s & much nicer than the UK You may lose half a day to the weather.

I've been in June and September, and think September is loads better.

I'm going one more month for a week and then going back again in for another week in September (13-20). That's the best week for closing parties IMO.
Weather is also at its best in this time of the year... you won't be disappointed
