1st time working Ibiza

Hiya I'm Looking at heading over this year for a few months. I'm thinking about heading over early to mid may through to August. Ive done some research and have found a company playaway abroad. Would I be better heading over with them or just booking a flight and a hotel room for two weeks and go from there. I'm going to be doing this solo if anyone wants to tag along drop me a message. Cheers guys.
 
i looked at playaway and a few others. limited spaces when i checked a month ago n only space was at the end of the month. ive opted to fly over myself instead of paying them to do everything will do it on my own
 
My advise would be to take a small risk and just book a flight. Book yourself into a cheap hotel/hostel for a week and go and find a job. If you go out early May it wont be hard as everybody is hiring then.

I went out to Ibiza last summer and sorted out my accomm beforehand through facebook pages there is a company called Ibiza workers accommodation which sorts out renting the apartments in the new workers complex by Cafe Mambo and other apartments around San An. There are loads of other people going out alone or in small groups wanting to team up to fill an apartment so maybe do this?

If not I would just book a flight and a hotel for a few days and go knocking on the doors of the workers apartments (Es pon or Es vedra in San An) and I'm sure someone has space. Alternately you can look on the notice boards in The Ship Inn at the top of the West End as there are often room vacancy adverts here... it is where we found 2 new roomies from last summer.

good luck and don't worry everyone is so friendly and people are in the same boat as you. If you are concerned just book a cheap hotel for 1+ weeks so at least you have somewhere to stay. I think you will find somewhere in less than a week though.
