Hi

Visiting Ibiza again this year for a long weekend in July , this be our 5th time on the island but first time we staying down bora bora

We staying at hotel torre der mar, anyone heard things about this?
Far from bora bora beach main strip?

Also what good bars is there to go down this end of the island over the weekends?

As we normally stay up there we know the bars up San an. But bora bora is all new to us, any help be appreciated?

And do the djs play at pre parties down this way or do we have to travel to sunset strip, mambo etc to see these?

Cheers

hotel is about a 10 to 15 min stroll along beach or street away to bora bora beach bar, bars and pubs are along road.once you hit the first set of lights.turn either left out of hotel and walk through path part then along a wall.till you see jetty.then along beach.or out of hotel turn right then first left up road till you hit main road.then turn left.

nice hotel.your only a 10 min taxi ride from airport should cost you about 12/13 euro to hotel.you;ll be ok.just walk round main area to find a bar you like.not forgetting as you walk into pdb main strip.palm trees start.look on the right for side street bars as well.something for everyone in resorts.
plus your only a 5 min walk from Figueretas and 20 mins walk from ibizatown.enjoy.what date you going out.

i have no idea who the djs are this year.but check other beach bars as well.

Just so you know, the area where you'll be staying is called Playa den Bossa.

Bora Bora is just one of many beach bars along the beach, and PdB is a long beach. If you come out of the hotel to the sea and turn right, it's a 15 minute walk.

Thanks for All that info guys

Yeah I know the area is called playa da bossa, just a habit to call it bora bora end lol am I San an man really. Done 5 years up that way. So 1st year down here

We hitting July 13th - 16th. Gonna hit pukka up boat party Friday and into Ushuaia. Then sat. Zoo and bob Sinclair at pasha and Sunday day bora bora and into space.

Weekend dun! Lol sounds good to me :-)

hotel as now back way out.so you have to turn left once you walk out of doors.you will enjoy pdb.more international people.plus its flat so no falling down streets.like you would in the west end.

strange reasons wuddy. aldi in old trafford is as flat as a pancake and packed to the brim with international people too but i can't say i enjoyed it overly so.

If I leave the hotel and go the other way. Away from bora bora , is there Nything good/nice up that way walking distance?

Well, first you'll get to Figuretas where there is a beach and a bunch of cafes and bars. Then eventually you'll get to Ibiza Town!

if you walk right out of hotel follow street passed other hotels atps.till it comes to a left hand bend, you will see a bar called prince.look right walk right and your on Figuretas prom.all eating places and bars.etc.where you see an opening on the left.tourist hut.walk on to that road.turn right ok.at cross roads lights and bank on corner.turn right and follow road into ibizatown.

or bus 14 will take you into town.

Well if you had gone to Costco you would have had a lovely time, big trolleys and free nibbles in the food section!!

If you go to Figuretas for dinner as your walking along the promenade you will probably see a tall blonde dutch claiming his restaurant has the best tapas in ibiza. well its not far off! very nice and friendly atmosphere , we go every year. We tried tapas further along the strip and it wasnt nearly as good
