me and my girlfriend r going to ibiza 4th oct for a week but have never been. im looking for some help, were looking for a relaxing holiday by day and need help on places to go at night - were not really into dance music/clubbing and wondered if there are any pubs with Indie music or anything a bit less damaging to the ears than dance music!??

Cheers

There is murphys Irish pub which isn't dance music, i suggest just tryin some of the smaller bars in the resort, plently don't play loud music

PDB bars

By the time you go in October most of the pre-club bars will be closed anyway, so you will probably find that those that are still open will have far less music....and far more football being shown on large screens,

Incidentally during the second week of our holiday in PDB in September the local magistrate was issuing orders for most of the smaller PDB bars to lower the volume of their music, we were in Bar Joy when the Local Policia delivered the enforcement notice forcing the bar manager (Patrik) to turn his music down.

Patrik was adament that Bora Bora were behind the enforcement, he said they didn't like other bars getting in on the club music scene. The large shop on the corner (Raza Clubbing) were also forced to stop using their decks on the same week. It would appear that Bora Bora and Space are backed heavily by the local tourist association as they are big pulls to the island.

hardly, $pac€ has just been told in no uncertain terms that its once planned club in ibiza town will never get permission to go ahead and we all know what happened to bora bora when it didn't have the right permits.
